The flat-screen TV provided a nice way to unwind after a day of exploring. it's a simple pleasure that added to the comfort of the stay. The air conditioning was reliable, which is a must during warm nights, so I didn't have to sweat it out.
The dark rooms facing a cramped courtyard felt less inviting, and it was easy to hear plumbing noise that made for some restless nights—especially with the toilet running constantly in two different rooms. Plus, the limited amenities like minimal bathroom supplies and the lack of a hairdryer were disappointing. Hearing other guests through the walls added to the distractions. the place shares a building with other lodgings, which could lead to some unexpected interruptions.

The location of Hostal Felipe V was a standout. Right in the center, I could explore all the main attractions easily. The room was clean and had a nice flat-screen TV, which added to my comfort. The air conditioning worked well, making warm nights pleasant. I appreciated the presence of an elevator, especially after long days of walking. sound isolation wasn't great. I could often hear noises from the corridor. Check-in was smooth, but I faced a language barrier with one staff member, which made communication a bit tricky. I had to deal with a persistent noise from the plumbing, which was distracting. Despite these hiccups, the price was very reasonable for the location and amenities available. I’d consider returning for the convenience.

I loved my stay, especially the clean, cozy room and the quick access to a fantastic internet cafe nearby for some good food. The on-site air conditioning was a lifesaver on hot days, and I enjoyed relaxing with a flat-screen TV in my room. One minor issue was a little confusion at check-in with a language barrier, but it didn’t dampen my experience at all—just brush up on your Spanish! 😊
